There’s something about his sweet expression that works for so many different cards—from soft and subtle to bright and cheerful. I’ve been playing around with a couple of different looks lately, and it’s fun to see how easily he fits into completely different styles.
One of my favorite little tricks with this set is how I use the grass stamp.
Instead of stamping it straight, I gently bend the stamp as I place it on my block. Just a slight curve—and it instantly turns into a soft little clump of grass instead of a straight line.
It’s such a small detail, but it adds a lot more movement and a more natural look to the scene.
Those are the kinds of tiny tweaks I always come back to… simple changes that make a big difference.
Do you ever alter your stamps slightly like that, or do you prefer to keep them straight?
